Dead humpback whale spotted floating south of Sitka

A dead humpback whale was spotted floating in the water about 30 miles south of Sitka on September 6. Now researchers are hoping it will wash ashore so they can examine it.

Boys Run I toowú klatseen kicks off 2023 season

Boys Run I toowú klatseen is a ten-week program consisting of running, discussion, and cultural activities for 3rd through 5th grade boys. The program seeks to teach participants the skills they need to build healthy relationships and create a community of respect for self and others.
