Police are investigating a woman for drunk driving, after she plowed her SUV into the Sitka’s downtown postal substation Tuesday night (1-19-16).

Wegner asks for no raise; school board talks budget

Raptor Center says goodbye to iconic eagle

PFD voter initiative moves forward

A statewide effort with Sitka roots to make voting easier culminated today when petitioners submitted thousands of signatures to the Division of Elections. Supporters of the ballot initiative are hoping in the future residents will be simultaneously signed up to vote when they submit for their annual checks.
