Sitka Health Summit Offers More Funding for Health Projects
The Sitka Health Summit will introduce MAPP Community Health Assessment data to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 30th, 7:00pm at the Hames Center. And the Summit's 9th Annual Planning Day will be Friday, October 9th, 8:30am-4:00pm, at UAS. This year's Planning Day will offer funding for more local health improvement projects.Downloadable audio.

Matthew Hunter is a lifelong Sitkan. He went to Sitka High, got his masters in teaching at the University of Alaska Southeast, and now teaches math and physics at Mt. Edgecumbe High School. Three years ago, he was elected to a seat on the seven member assembly. And this year, he’s hoping to win it again.
