During Discovery Week (Feb 16 – 19), Blatchley students choose from among 78 classes far, far outside of the normal academic curriculum: Everything from cooking-with-bacon classes to sea kayaking and traditional carving and story telling. Sixteen organizations around Sitka provide instructors. With coordinator Kari Sagel, students Robert Gibson and Tava Guillory, and SNEP coordinator Brian James.
