Dancer/choreographer Laura Careless debuts her solo piece, The Lost Goddess Dance, tonight (7 PM, Wed Feb 18, Sitka Performing Arts Center). Careless has taught dance at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp over the last three summers. She began to develop material for the piece, which is based on the Persephone myth, while in Sitka.
