On the heels of closing Annie this past weekend (Feb. 27 to Mar. 1, 2015), Zeke Blackwell with the Sitka Fine Arts Camp is already looking forward to the next program. Blackwell is opening auditions to 5th to 8th graders for Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor this coming Monday (Mar. 9) and Tuesday (Mar. 10). The story is about the ill-fated attempts of a knight in 16th century England to woo two married women. Sign-ups for auditions for the play’s twenty parts are on the Sitka Fine Arts Camp website. The Merry Wives of Windsor will debut Friday April 17 at 7pm; Saturday April 18 at 7pm; Sunday April 19 at 2pm. Odess Theater in Allen Hall. $10 general / $5 students & seniors. Children under 5 are free.
