Lily Herwald has taken over the reins of Raven Radio as interim general manager, effective September 1. Although her long-term plans include extensive travel outside of Sitka, Herwald was the ideal pick to keep a steady hand on the station while the board seeks a permanent replacement for Rachel and Ken Fate. Herwald first began working at KCAW in 1985, and rose through several jobs to become station manager in 1996.
