The 2nd Annual Baranof Elementary School Fall Carnival is Saturday, October 26, from 12-3 p.m. complete with all of the classic carnival staples– dunk tanks, cake walks, face painting, bouncy castles and baby goats.
Principal Jill LeCrone and Kari Sagel joined KCAW’s Erin Fulton in the studio to discuss the carnival, which will raise funds to help the school finish its brand new “launchpad.”
The “launchpad” is a space where kindergarten and first grade students can develop a “maker mindset.”
Tickets for the fall carnival are $5, all community members welcome.
