Klusmeier: How leaving home helps you understand home

Cathryn Klusmeier is from a multi-generational family in Arkansas. But it wasn't until she left home that she felt the literary pull of her southern roots, and began an extended work of creative non-fiction. She's one of six Fellows under thirty residing in Sitka for seven weeks. She'll read from her manuscript during an Open Studio, 7 PM August 28 in the Yaw Art building. Klusmeier is also inviting the public to a short memoir workshop tonight (7-29-14) in her studio, 8 PM Room 107 of the Yaw Art building. Read More
