Sitka Fine Arts Camp’s high school camp is wrapping up as students prepare for their final performance. At 7 PM this evening, students will showcase what they’ve learned in a variety of mediums — from mime and advanced ballet, to stage combat and musical theater — at the Sitka Performing Arts Center.

Two students practice stage combat hours before their final performance.

On Saturday, July 9, from 1-4 PM, small performances and visual art will be showcased across the Fine Arts campus.  At 7 PM, choir, opera, concert band, chamber orchestra, clown theater and other performances will bring the weekend’s events to a close, followed by a rock concert at Odess Theater at 10 PM.

SFAC campers practice a final pose for their showcase performance.
