My name is Aaron Bean and I’m running for Sitka’s Assembly.

Sitka is an amazing community with lots of potential. As a small business owner and a lifelong Sitkan, I understand the need for political action to preserve our historic past and actively pursue new ideas to ensure a brighter future for everyone. I’m running for Assembly to represent the people and to act as a conduit to bring their creative, pragmatic, and collaborative solutions to the table.

When elected, one of my top priorities will be to strengthen Sitka’s economy. This will be done by attracting and retaining small businesses to Sitka, developing more middle class jobs, and creating conditions for sustainable growth through land annexation, fish resource development, and more latitude to incentivize tax breaks for local businesses.

To learn more about me and my ideas, please visit my Facebook page at “Aaron Bean for Assembly.” Thank you and I look forward to earning your support and hearing your ideas.
