This October, I am seeking reelection to the City and Borough of Sitka Assembly.

I have been a member of the Assembly since 2013 and wish to continue as an advocate for the people, often being the voice of reason. If elected to a second term, I will continue to push for more budget cuts where needed to continue to have a balanced budget. I am a strong supporter of the police and fire department and will continue to do my part to keep the streets safer by not making unnecessary cuts to these departments.

All my votes on the Assembly come from comments that I hear from the public whether from talking to citizens in person, on the phone, and from reading emails that I receive, in addition to comments made at meetings and from social media. Although I do not always speak on some items on the agenda, when I do speak it is to the point and usually worth listening to.

I am always available to be reached either by phone or email and enjoy meeting with people when requested. I look forward to the opportunity to serve you for another 3 years.
