Victoria Vosburg and Jen Cedarleaf have organized Sitka’s version of the Audubon Christmas Bird Count for the last 12 years. Volunteers are needed to count birds on about 30 mapped routes this Saturday, December 29. A planning meeting and slideshow are scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight (Wed 12-26-18) at the Alaska Raptor Rehabilitation Center.
